Paper Pumpkin Kit is Here!

Did someone say kit? I personally love kits. I love when everything is coordinated and put together!!!! I love crafting and do ok on my own but time is an issue and sometimes when there is a room full of supplies designing eats overwhelming! Or perhaps you have very few supplies; then a kit is everything!

Either way I love Stampin Up's Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription box. It comes with pre-designed projects every month and everything is included to complete the projects, paper, stamps, ink, ribbo, and even  pop dots! You barely need scissors but you do have to cut the ribbon.

Here is one of the projects from the kit:

But wait, you get extras!!!! I'm sure the extra pieces are there in case you need them but there's always leftovers and you can use stamps and ink with other projects!

This kit has been around 6 years and March is its birthday month and they are giving away 2 stamp sets in March's kit!!! I'm hoping its Birthday themed because I make birthday cards every month!!!!! Family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, all need cards and at the price of store bought these days a handmade card is a great gesture!

So if you are considering this kit March is the month to try it! No long term commitment you can cancel anytime, you can prepay and save on the subscription and a 3 month prepay qualifies for a free Sale-A-Bration item ( more free)!

Fold Over Pocket Card

Pocket Cards!!! I used to make these all the time years ago but then kind of forgot about them!!! I recently made one and then I kept making them!!!! Here's 3 that I love!

Here's what you need to complete this card:
Solid Cardstock base
Double sided Designer Series Paper
White Cardstock
Embellishments (ribbon, flowers, etc)
Stamps for sentiment
Adhesive
Scoring tool

Cut your Cardstock 5 1/2in by 4 1/4in
Cut a second piece 5 in by the 3 1/2 in
Cut Designer Series Paper 10 1/2 in by 4 in (make sure to keep pattern orientation in mind ) you don't want your pattern sideways or upside down!!!!!
Cut your white cardstock 4 3/4 by 3 1/4

Score DSP on the long side at 1 1/2 and 5 1/4 ( keep pattern in mind and score on wrong side)
Fold at score lines and assemble!!
DSP gets adhered to larger colored cardstock, white cardstock gets stamped with sentiment and adhered to smaller colored cardstock.  The small piece becomes your card!
Embellish as desired and insert card into pocket.

Here's what I used:
Birthday card: Stampin Up How Sweet it is DSP
Melon Mambo Cardstock and Ink
Hello Cupcake Stamp Set (free Sale-A-Bration item)
Whisper White Cardstock

Thank you and notecard:
Basic Black Cardstock
Whisper White Cardstock
Botanical Butterfly DSP (free Sale-A-Bration item)
Butterfly Gala Stamp Set
Memento Black Inl
