Happy Halloween!!!!

Today it seems would be fitting for me to show you what I made for Halloween!!! Nope, not today!!! First off Halloween really is not my thing! No candy, no costumes, just no Halloween. But the real reason is that I'm in full Christmas mode by now and I'm ready to get to it!!! So I have a Christmas card in the she cave (dining room table) today.

So this is where I started and really wanted to use this plaid paper from my Basic Grey stash!!!! Well I found a new lace die that I really wanted to use and couldn't make it work with the plaid paper so I found another paper from the same collection that worked and the card took on another life.... Happens a lot in my she cave!!!

So here is where it ended up using everything from my stash! So happy with how it turned out and that my stash is just a little lighter today!

I love card making and scrap booking and I hoard paper!!!! I buy it because it's pretty with no project in mind then I sit down to make something and then don't want to use the prettiness. Sound familiar?

I have gone on a card making spree the last few months since my beloved mom passed away. Card making has become therapeutic and something I can control. I create beautiful things as a way to honor the beauty that was my mom!!!

I didn't intend to tear up so let's just get on with the sharing.

Here is a card I created using distress oxides, Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, a paper punch, and an embossing folder. If you are reading this I'm going to guess you know what these are???
